Yesterday was a very good day. I'm still in Rockford and was able to sleep in. Everyone in the house including Abbie slept in. It was a very nice way to start off my Sunday. Well about 20 mins after everyone woke up my Uncle Joe dropped by for some coffee and just to hang out. Well of course Sunday Football Play off games are on today so my Uncle Tony and Uncle Joe plan on where they are going to go watch the game. They decide on Cousin's Bar and Grill. So Kyle and I take them to the bar. Kyle has to work at 3 and they wont be done til after that so I had to figure out where I was going. Simple enough. So it's only 11:30am when we get back to the house. We decided it was going to be a lazy day for us. We put in Transformers 2 (blu-ray) and start watching it. I love that movie. After the movie, Abbie takes a nap and Kyle leaves for work. Uncle Tony call's and asks for a ride. I'm on my way. I find Cousin's with no problem and walk in to get them. They still had half a pitcher so I sit down and wait. Well my Uncle Joe asks if I would like a drink. I say sure and order a fuzzy navel. One drink is not going to impair my driving and it if does I shouldn't be drinking. So we sit and talk and I'm out of a drink so my Uncle orders me another one... It's fine because we are eating wings and there is no way I'll get drunk off of 2 drinks. I was correct. We watch the 1st half of the Jets-Chargers game and then leave. We dropped Uncle Joe off at his house and head for the store we are going to make meatloaf for dinner... better yet I am going to make meatloaf.
So I have never made meatloaf and cant even remember the last time I even ate meatloaf. So my uncle walks me through it step by step.... it was actually fairly easy. I was very impressed with how much I actually liked cooking... usually I hate it. Anyways we put the meatloaf in the oven and finish watching the game. The game is over and the meatloaf still has time so we channel surf for a while. Finally dinner is ready and its time to test my cooking. We get the plates ready get set up and start eating dinner... It was VERY good. I was VERY proud of myself. Something new I can make when Jack gets home. <3
Dinner is all done and its TV time. We sit down and watch 24. Personally I have never watched it before but everyone else loved it. So I just sat there and relaxed. Didn't want to blog last night though I was kinda tired and didn't feel like typing so I didn't. After 24 Tinia went upstairs to sleep and I put Abbie in her bed to sleep. Uncle Tony and I stayed downstairs and watched the "Breakfast Club" great movie. I had never seen it before. After the movie everyone was really tired so everyone but me when to bed. I stayed up and did what I always do.... THINK!!! It was a long night and I finally fell asleep at about 3am... even though I layed on the couch I couldn't sleep. I just had 100 thoughts about Jack going on through my head... I miss him so very much and just want to know that things are OK and that no matter what we can make it through anything!!!!! Well that was my Sunday, lets hope there is more to talk about later tonight when I blog about today!!
Until then I'm taking things one day at a time.
