Just another Saturday...

Today is Saturday, nothing real important about that other than Abbie and I are headed to Rockford today. Well our day started off pretty good other than I realized I was suppose to do my laundry last night and instead stayed up to watch Criminal Minds. I know I am beyond addicted. It gets me through my days and that's what matters. Anyways... So I get up and clean the room up a bit and start laundry. So laundry is started and the bedroom is clean now time to pack... Oh shoot forgot I have 2 care packages to mail off... So I have my Uncle watch Abbie and I run to the post office. It took 30mins to get 2 packages mailed off... Well there's 30mins of time I just lost. Oh well it was worth it. Anything for Jack :) So I get back home and switch over the laundry. I then go back up stairs, get Abbie ready, pack the car, run around like a chicken with my head cut off, and finish the laundry. My Aunt Tinia shows up around 12:30pm and I let her know I need just a few more minutes. So I get the rest packed and we are off. We head to the video store to return a movie and then stop to get gas, 32 dollars later and we are off. The drive up wasn't to bad. Abbie slept the whole time and Tinia and I talked about the wedding and the family and just about life in general. Well finally 3 hours later we make it to my Uncle Tony's house :) YAY... No more driving for me. So we get the car unloaded and the living room set up and stuff for Abbie and I. After everything is ready we head to the living room to watch TV. Well my uncle was watching football and Abbie became glued to the TV. More so then she does with Dora, so we watched the game for a little but but had to run to Walmart to get some stuff. She wasn't very happy that we had to leave again but oh well.

We get to Walmart and do our shopping. I get some cards for Jack and some pickles for Abbie. She picked them out. :) We check out and leave. Get gas AGAIN and head back to Tony's. Uncle Tony makes some pizza and we wait to eat. We sit down eat dinner and watch some more football. Aunt Tinia goes to bed and I stay downstairs with Abbie and my Uncle Tony. We watch even more football... by this point I'm ready for something else. FACEBOOK :) So I play around on the computer and go to peopleofwalmart.com and WOW... there is really no other way to say it. Its finally 8pm so I take Abbie upstairs to give her a bath. She plays for a bit I wash her up and its time to get out. I take her back downstairs get her ready for bed and lay her down in her pack n play. I come back to the front room and watch even more football... UGH... Such a boring day. Oh well I guess tomorrow will be better :) I plan on making a trip to down town Chicago and then heading to Wisconsin to get my Uncle Tony some cigarettes and just so I can say I've been to the state of Wisconsin :) I know I'm a loser but I'm OK with that.

I'm getting very excited for next week because I think I will FINALLY get to talk to the hubby. I'm trying to not get my hopes up because any one knows when you get your hopes up for something 90% of the time your going to be let down. So for now I'm just going to pray and hope that I get to talk to him.

Abbie is doing great, she really likes to learn new words and repeats almost anything I say. She learns at least 2 new words a day and remembers them and uses them again. I know some kids will only repeat if someone else is saying it but not Abbie she just talks and talks and talks. I love it and she amazes me so much more everyday. She brings so much joy and happiness into my life and even when I'm sad she always finds a way to make me smile and look for happy things. I don't know what I would do without her.

Other than that nothing really happened today. I'm just enjoying the peace and relaxation of being away from Springfield, drama, and my stalker who hasn't gotten the clue that I'm about to call the cops on him. Anyways enough of that. I miss Jack more and more each day and can't wait to hear from him again. It has been far to long. Abbie and I are hoping for a more eventful day tomorrow with lots of fun and laughter with the family!!! It should be a great next 4 days... but Until then Abbie and I are just taking things one day at a time.
